The Ptarmigan Restaurant, at 3,600 feet, is the highest restaurant in the UK and is uniquely accessed via the CairnGorm Mountain Railway. Over the summer months, opening times are extended into the evening for our programme of exclusive Sunset Dining Evenings and Highland Ceilidhs. As the sun sets spectacularly over Strathspey and the Monadhliath Mountains, relax and enjoy traditional local Highland produce, prepared to an exceptionally high standard in this unique location. Returning by the railway in the late summer twilight, sit back and admire the stars through the glass roof of the carriage.
